Now that I have turned 18 and having to go ahead and face the world, I have learned that it can be scary out there. Feeling confident, loving yourself and feeling good about yourself is so important. Doing these small things in the long run, you will feel so much better about yourself, you’re going to meet more people, you’ll end up doing this you would never thought you would do. Not all of these things will be for everyone, because the way I feel like a badass may not be the same as you. Adapting these things to help fit you better will make a big difference.
You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of. You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life.
The first thing is how you get up in the morning. Everyone has outfits that make them feel like they look incredible and they make you feel great and confident. A good thing to do is to have a staple of three or four types of styles that you know make you feel good. When you are wearing certain outfits, what about those outfits make you feel good. This way you can incorporate those in all of your different outfits.
LOVE WHAT YOU DO. DO WHAT YOU LOVE
Whenever you have a lazy day try to find something that makes you feel more put together and more badass. Maybe it’s a certain hairstyle that you like or even maybe putting on some dark lipstick. Or even taking those lazy day outfits like sweatpants and a t-shirt and making them feel a little bit more badass. For me if I was wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt I might tie up the t-shirt and maybe even add some cool accessories. Accessories really help if you want to make even a lazy day outfit feel more badass. The way you style the outfit can really make it go from really baggy and slouchy to oh my gosh.
Your posture. The way you stand and hold yourself will change not only the way you feel but the way people perceive you. If you walk around all slouched and arms crossed, you are going to feel kind of down and more reserved. But if you walk around with a hand on your hip, your legs a little bit further a part maybe even a smile on your face. People will think that you are more confident, proud of herself and more open to conversation. It looks like you’re more of a go-getter when you stand the way of a go-getter.
Trying out styles that you’ve always looked at. If you are always looking at people for certain hairstyles or certain looks. Why not try putting them on yourself if you haven’t already. You never know you might find a certain style or look that makes you ten times more confident and beautiful.
Now attitude is everything! I one hundred percent believe that law of attraction, your mind set is so important. So if you walk around feeling sad, feeling bad about yourself you are going to look like you are sad. You have to change your mind set. It can be really hard at first. It is kind of like faking it till you make it. But if you walk around telling yourself “I am confident”, “I am brave”, “I am strong”, “I am beautiful” then you are confident, you are strong, you are beautiful. You are all the things that you tell yourself.
I hope that by adding these few helpful tips into your daily life it will help you too feel like a badass.
